Fisch Resilience Stat

What is this mysterious Resilience stat that keeps showing up when equipping rods?

What is Resilience?

Taking the full definition of Resilience, it refers to the withstanding of something tough. In the context of Fisch, it’s how much the fish you’re reeling in can withstand your fishing rod. So, with that, we can look at how to improve your Resilience stat.

Some fishing rods in Fisch come with high Resilience, making it easier than ever to control the fish you’re catching wherever you are. However, some rods have a reduction in Resilience and others come with no additional effects to the stat.

Having a high Resilience stat means that you have more control over the fish, and they don’t move around the bar as much when you’re trying to reel them in. A low Resilience stat means the fish moves a lot faster across the bar, making it more difficult to successfully catch them.

How to Improve Resilience

Luckily, there are ways to improve the Resilience stat or counter the reduction that comes with some rods.

Enchant Rods With Weak Resilience

The main way is by enchanting a fishing rod with an Enchant Relic. This process all comes down to RNG, and you can only enchant a rod during the night. To learn more about the feature, read our How to Enchant Rods in Fisch guide!

  • Resilient
    • Increases Resilience by 35%
  • Controlled
    • The bar size increases by 0.15
  • Steady
    • Reduces minigame progress loss by 25%

Resilient Rods

The second way is by prioritising rods that come with a Resistance boost. The following are good options when you don’t have any Enchant Relics spare, and you have to rely on the base Res stat!

  • King’s Rod (35% Resilience)
  • Steady Rod (30% Resilience)
  • Training Rod (20% Resilience)
  • Plastic Rod (10% Resilience)
  • Carbon Rod (10% Resilience)
