Fisch Best Enchants For Each Rod

If you have any of these rods, it’s best to take a look at which enchants are best for them. Don’t waste your Enchant Relics on unnecessary buffs!

The rods listed below are the most ideal to enchant. I don’t recommend enchanting any of the early-game rods, as you’ll soon replace them when saving up coins.

Rapid Rod

  • Lucky
    • Increases the rod’s luck by 20%, which counters the 20% reduction that the Rapid Rod has at its base
  • Divine
    • Increases the rod’s luck by 45%, which again, gets rid of the luck reduction when using the Rapid Rod

Magnet Rod

The Magnet Rod’s sole purpose is to reel in crates that you can sell for extra bait or money. Because of this, it’s eternally useful, unless a new and improved rod gets added to the game. That’s why it’s worth enchanting it!

  • Swift
    • Increases Lure Speed by 30%, which counters the 10% loss on the Magnet Rod

Fortune Rod

  • Swift
    • The Fortune Rod has a 35% longer Lure Speed, so with Swift, it reduces by 30%, meaning the effects of the Fortune Rod are only 5% longer!

Nocturnal Rod

  • Resilient
    • The Resilience of the Nocturnal Rod isn’t great, with a 25% reduction. However, by enchanting it with Resilient, your Resilience increases by 35%
  • Steady
    • With a lower Resilience, the minigame can become quite tough with harder-to-catch fish. With the Steady enchant, the progress you lose reduces by 25%, making it a little easier!
  • Swift
    • This one isn’t as important to use, but it does counter the 10% increase in Lure Time with the Nocturnal Rod

Magma Rod

  • Swift
    • The biggest downfall of the Magma Rod is the longer Lure Time. So, that’s where the Swift enchant comes in! Still, it only changes the effect from -70% to -40%, which is still a major con of the rod
  • Lucky or Divine
    • Increases your luck even more, as the Magma Rod comes with a 10% luck boost

Destiny Rod

  • Swift
    • Gets rid of the 10% Lure Time debuff
  • Steady
    • Reduces the progress lost from the minigame by 25%, which is a nice boost, seen as how the Destiny Rod comes with no effects on its Resilience or Control
  • Resilient
    • The Destiny Rod comes with no buffs or debuffs to your Resilience, which is why enchanting it with Resilient means you get an advantage!

King’s Rod

  • Swift
    • The King’s Rod has a 45% longer Lure Speed which can be countered with the Swift enchant
  • Sea King
    • Whilst the King’s Rod’s passive increases the size of fish by 15%, the Sea King enchant increases it by another 10%
  • Long
    • The line for the King’s Rod is pretty short, which limits where you can use it in certain locations. The Long enchant increases the size of the fishing line by 50%!

Mythical Rod

  • Resilient
    • The Mythical Rod comes with 0% Resilience, so you might as well enchant it with something that gives it a boost!
  • Blessed or Mutated
    • With the 45% luck increase, enchanting the Mythical Rod with the increased chance of getting mutations is a good way to earn more money and EXP

Reinforced Rod

  • Swift
    • The Lure Speed of this rod is set at 0, so you might as well give it a 30% boost
  • Resilient
    • Increases the 0% Resilience of the Reinforced Rod by 35%

Trident Rod

  • Resilient
    • Despite this being one of the later rods in the game, it comes with no extra Resilience
  • Steady
    • With 0 Control, the Trident Rod benefits from the 25% reduction of progress lost with the Steady enchant
  • Controlled
    • Again, with 0 Control and 0 Resilience, having an increased bar size with the Controlled enchant is useful

No-Life Rod

  • Resilient
    • It’s the best rod in the entire game and is unlocked after reaching level 500. But, despite this, it has 0 Resilience!
  • Mutated, Blessed, and Sea King
    • Basically, any enchant that increases the change of a larger fish or mutated fish
