Fans playing through the Dragon Age: The Veilguard achievements likely won’t be getting any additional content to play through, as BioWare currently has no plans for any Dragon Age: The Veilguard expansions. The developer will instead focus on its other Xbox RPG series, Mass Effect.BioWare isn’t developing expansions for Dragon Age: The VeilguardIt appears that The Veilguard will be the first Dragon Age game not to get any post-launch story expansions, which will come as a bit of a surprise to the series’ veteran players. The news was revealed via a Rolling Stone interview with the game’s creative director, John Epler. Although Epler doesn’t comment on it directly, the article reports that “BioWare confirms that there are currently no plans for downloadable expansions. The developers’ full attention has now shifted entirely to the next Mass Effect as their current project.”Despite that, it seems BioWare isn’t dropping the game entirely now that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is out. According to a report from IGN, BioWare still plans to roll out “smaller content updates” alongside quality-of-life improvements, although it’s unclear what any of those could be. Now that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is in players’ hands, we’ll hopefully start learning more about the next Mass Effect game. Aside from a few teases, very little is known about it, although BioWare director Michael Gamble recently revealed that Mass Effect will keep the “mature tone” and photorealistic visuals the series has always had. Dragon Age: The Veilguard launched on Xbox Series X|S last week to excellent reviews.
