The Ascent’s first paid DLC pack, CyberSec, is available now and comes loaded with new weapons, armour, weapon skins, and more. Additionally, Patch 5 is rolling out for free and includes a new transmogrification feature.The CyberSec pack marks the first time that we can purchase DLC for The Ascent, and while it doesn’t contain any additional gameplay elements, the new gear does look pretty cool, right? You can pick up the CyberSec pack from the Microsoft Store now for £3.99/$4.99/€4,99, and it comes loaded with two new weapons (NEWT MGL Grenade Launcher and Recoil Ballistic Burst Rifle), a new tactical (GR00P Cluster Grenade), four pieces of armour, and four new animated weapon skins. The Ascent’s fifth patch is also now rolling out to all players for free and adds the new transmogrification feature at the Stylist. By paying a small fee, Indents can change their appearance to match any piece of armour in their inventory — ensuring that you remain combat-ready while looking badass. According to Neon Giant’s content roadmap, we can expect to see Patch 6 roll out sometime before the end of the year, which looks to introduce new side mission voiceovers and the Winter Pack.
