The team at Com2uS has announced that Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice will launch October 29.
Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice brings with it a number of mobile-exclusive features, including multiplayer social elements. The main social feature in Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice is the industry system, which has players choosing one of five Featured Industries (Engineering, Agriculture, Technology, Healthcare, and Finance) early in the title.
From there, players will then develop the city with industry-related resources and skills. Each of these Featured Industries provides essential products for development, with special items from other industries obtainable through trading with others.

The development team said the following:
“The message we want to convey is that everyone has their own role in the end and can only survive through cooperation.
We designed the game so that players have to interact with other players to develop the city in all directions.”
Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice will come out for free for both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
