We’re mere days away from the introduction of the Xiaomi 15 series which will be the first phones to launch with the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. If you were wondering how the new chip performs on the gaming front, Digital Chat Station shared some early stress tests showcasing the might of the upcoming Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro.
Xiaomi 15 ran Genshin Impact at maximum settings with an average of 59.9 FPS. Impressively, the chip’s power consumption topped out at just over 4W, and it reached a maximum temperature of just 39°C. We can see the Snapdragon 8 Elite stacked up nicely with the Dimensity 9400 with matching average FPS while drawing less power.
