Fisch Travelling Merchant
The Travelling Merchant is an NPC that spawns now and again across multiple islands. The island he decides to visit is completely random though!
Travelling Merchant Location
The main spawn points for the Travelling Merchant NPC are:
- Moosewood
- Roslit Bay
- Terrapin Island
- Sunstone Island
I mostly spot him at Moosewood, though he has a chance to spawn in the areas listed above too.
Spawn Spots
- Sunstone Island
- The Travelling Merchant appears by the long ladder at the side of the island, rather than at the docks
- Terrapin Island
- Like Sunstone Island, the Travelling Merchant spawns by the ladder that’s next to a boat that has a book on it
- Moosewood
- You can spot his boat at the end of the docks on Moosewood Island but can sometimes appear on the front left side of the island

All of these products can be purchased from his shop, but they’re not always in stock! If you’re trying to get a particular item, make sure you visit him each time he spawns.
- Mythical Rod
- Costs 110K Coins
- Every fish you catch has a 20% chance of having the Rainbow Mutation
- Midas Rod
- Costs 55K Coins
- Every fish you catch has a 60% chance of having the Golden Mutation
- Firework
- Costs 130 Coins
- It’s practically pointless, as it’s simply a one-use item that summons a firework
- Volcanic Geode
- Costs 600 Coins
- Like Treasure Chests, this item contains a random reward which you obtain when opening it
- The reward pool includes bait, coins, and fish (mostly the volcanic fish that you can catch in Roslit Volcano)
- Carbon Crate
- Costs 490 Coins
- You’re more likely to get rarer fish from this crate, and potentially some coins
- Normal Crate
- Costs 128 Coins
- Contains nothing special, bar a few fish, but if you’re lucky you may get some coins too
