Fisch Enchant Relic Guide
The Relic Stone begins a new prestige path when obtained. This nifty item opens the doors to Enchantments which you apply to your Fishing Rod. To get your hands on an Enchant Relic, you’ll either have to get lucky and fish one up (1 in 500 chance anywhere), or purchase it from Merlin (Located on Sunstone Island) at player level 30, costing 11,000C$ per Relic.
With your chosen Rod in hand, head to the Statue of Sovereignty and equip the Enchant Relic. When within the perimeters of this area, interacting with the Relic will fuse it to your Rod and bestow a random Enchant upon it. Enchants cannot be undone, so make sure to only use them on Rods you value highly!
A hidden risk with Enchantments outside of receiving a random Enchant you don’t value is the slim chance of applying a Curse to your Rod instead. This then permanently debuffs your fishing rod, making it useable, but almost useless compared to how it was.
Is Enchantment Worth It?
Well, the Relic is a high-value item and is also very high-risk, high-reward. That said, it’s worth trying since regardless of the Enchant you receive, you’re likely to get a blessed Enchant which enhances your Rod, even if the Enchant isn’t the one you’re after.
Before you get ahead of yourself, Enchantment is only worth it if you have a rare Rod as well. This includes the Nocturnal Rod, Midas Rod, Destiny Rod and Mythical Rod. Enchanting anything less successfully results in a better rod, but they’ll still lack compared to their predecessors.
