About Isonades
Isonades are a Mythical fish, and one of the most difficult to get, as they’re found in very specific spots, and they’re also huge. So there’s a good chance it will be one of the later ones that you knock off your list.
Where Do You Find The Isonade?
You can catch an Isonade by fishing in a Strange Whirlpool. Strange Whirlpools are events where a whirlpool appears in the server, with strange blue lights issuing from the center. We’ve added an image of one below.
You must pull up near the whirlpool and cast your hook inside the whirlpool itself. Make sure not to fall in, or you’ll end up in Vertigo and potentially lose your chance. Once someone catches the Isonade, the Strange Whirlpool will disappear.
Tips To Catch An Isonade
If you’re still struggling, here are a few tips.
- The Isonade’s favorite bait is Truffle Worms. You can get these from Volcanic Geodes, and Quality Crates.
- Isonades are very large. You will need a rod capable of handling extremely heavy fish, such as the King’s Rod.
- Try and find a Strange Whirlpool without anyone else moored up nearby, so you’re not competing for an Isonade.
- The time, season, and weather doesn’t matter. If there’s a Strange Whirlpool there you can go for it.
