Finnish esports organisation ENCE has partnered with Björn Borg, a Swedish fashion and apparel brand named after the world-renowned tennis player.
Together, the two brands will soon launch a new ENCE pro kit and have already created a line of sportswear for ENCE players. There are plans for merchandise drops to be sold through the company’s channels.
Björn Borg is a Swedish sports apparel brand, named after former Swedish tennis player of the same name, one of the all-time greats of the sport. The fashion brand was in the past owned by WBM, a company that later bought the rights entirely and changed its name to Björn Borg.
This is the first foray into esports for Björn Borg, a company most known for producing underwear. As a part of the partnership with ENCE, Björn Borg and the esports brand have created a line of athletic wear for ENCE players, which includes a hoodie, pants and sneakers customised with the ENCE logo. The two brands have also created a new kit for ENCE, which will be released soon, according to ENCE.
Together the two brands will also work on merchandise drops and collections, first of which is to be launched in the Spring of 2025.
Nico Selenius, Head of Commercial and Retail at Björn Borg, said of the partnership: “We are glad that physical training is an essential part of ENCE’s daily routines that enables them to always be the best version of themselves, and that fits perfectly into our mission of inspiring people to exercise. We are looking forward to the collaboration with ENCE and various brand activations in the coming year.”
