Seven Yakuza games are finally getting physical Xbox releases

Physical fans can soon start unlocking the Yakuza 0 achievements and Yakuza Kiwami achievements using actual discs. While the Yakuza games have only ever been available on Xbox digitally, Sega and Limited Run Games are set to release physical Xbox copies of the entire Yakuza series — you’ll need to jump on it quick however, as they’ll only be available for a limited time.Limited Run Games offering physical copies of two classic Yakuza gamesIf you fancy adding Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami to your collection of physical games, both titles can be pre-ordered on the Limited Run Games website for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for $34.99 each. The Yakuza 0 copy also includes a commemorative slipcase that can display the full upcoming collection of game cases. They’ll only be available until November 10, so you’ll want to get your order sorted in the next couple of weeks if you don’t want to miss out, and they’re expected to ship sometime in March 2025.Both games are the first of seven Yakuza titles getting physical Xbox editions — Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, Yakuza 5, and Yakuza 6 will all arrive in the future — and Limited Run Games is offering Classic Editions for each game for $74.99, which include premium boxes to display together. Each Classic Edition also includes other memorabilia, as well as an acrylic character standee that will again, connect with the other standees packed in the other games’ Classic Editions.If you’re yet to check out Yakuza 0 or Yakuza Kiwami, both games are available alongside many other Yakuza titles in Xbox Game Pass — Yakuza 0 also features on our list of the most embarrassing Xbox achievements.
