Unsure how to play Fisch? Not to worry, as we’ll go back to the basics and talk you through everything you need to know.
Begin your fishing journey and play Fisch on Roblox. Of course, you’ll need a rod. Familiarise yourself with which the best is using our Fisch Rod Tier List. There are also different events that can occur on your server. Our Fisch Events Guide talks you through each.
How To Play Fisch
When you first launch Fisch, you will arrive in Moosewood and be guided to speak to the NPC called Pierre. He’ll talk you through the basics, and ask you to catch three fish. From then on, your journey awaits!
Catching Fish
Of course, this is the most important thing to go over, as it is the basis for the entire game! After speaking to Pierre, you will get a Flimsy Rod. Now, walk over to the pier and select the rod from the menu at the bottom, then left-click. A bar will appear, and you need to get it to hit the green. Once that’s done, your line will be cast into the water and a ‘Shake’ button will show up on the screen. Click that to trigger more shake buttons to appear. Keep clicking them to make your rod shake.
Now is the hardest part. A bar will pop up at the bottom of your screen. You need the fish icon to sit in this bar, but the fish keeps moving, which doesn’t help! If you click and hold, the bar will move left. Letting go will make the bar move to the right. Once the smaller bar underneath fills up, you’ll catch the fish.
Fishing Quests
This leads me to the different fishing quests available. Visit the Anglers or Phineas NPC who will give you tasks of catching specific fish. To view your current quests, look at the right-hand side of your screen.
After you complete one, head back to the NPC who assigned you the quest and speak to them. They’ll give you a reward for all your hard work… enjoy! After you complete two quests, you can visit the Shipwright NPC to purchase boats. These can take you to different locations, giving you the chance to catch different fish!
Selling Fish
So, you have all these fish… now what? Visit the Mark The Merchant NPC which is located in Moosewood. Here, you can sell your fish in exchange for cash. You can then use this to spend on different rods and other items to help you. We have a full Fisch Items Guide that goes through each, what they do, and how to get them.
Just outside of the Merchant are a bunch of fishing rods. Walk over and interact with them to purchase (if you have enough cash). Having the right rod makes all the difference, especially as some give you specific boosts. I suggest you check out our tier list I linked above!
Weather
Fisch has four types of weather: rain, windy, foggy, and clear. Although fishing in the pouring rain isn’t the most convenient thing, it is important!
During one of these weather events, you get a 35% increase in finding the corresponding fish. During a different season, you get a 25% increase. Both of these can stack on top of you, meaning if both the season and weather change, that’s a 60% increase!
