PC peripherals and hardware brand Glorious has announced the launch of a new gaming mouse called the Glorious Model O 2 Mini.
The mouse is aimed towards gamers with smaller hands and features a smaller form factor than the regular Model O. The new product is also said to feature enhanced lighting and is the lowest weight of all Glorious mice. The mouse will come in wired and wireless models.
The Model O is one of the staple products in Glorious’ lineup, a company known for producing keyboards that bridge the gap between customisability and high performance. Glorious’ mouse lineup consists of several products and includes wired and wireless versions, as well as different sizes and weights. The company also produces PRO versions of its three most popular mice, aimed at professional players, similar to Logitech G PRO or Razer’s Pro lineups.
The new Model O 2 Mini is a smaller size variation of the regular Model O 2 mouse but with several tweaks to make it perform and feel better for certain users. Overall, it is slightly shorter, narrower, and lower than the full-sized model, allowing users with small hands to have a better experience. In addition, it features an enhanced RGB system that shines brighter, weighs 57 grams and can connect through Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless.
The battery life is claimed to be 210 hours when connecting through Bluetooth and 110 hours in 2.4 Ghz mode. Glorious did not share how much the battery life differs when lighting is set to full brightness. There is also a cheaper, wired version that weighs a little less and uses a paracord cable.
The mouse is part of the Glorious V2 product lineup, which also includes the Model D and Model I mice.
Glorious has recently partnered with North American esports organisation Complexity to co-develop new products and work on marketing efforts and activations together.
