League of Legends Championship Korea (or LCK) is the country’s professional esports tournament for the popular Riot MOBA title. Their big-ticket stage has seen the birth of esports legends, and some of today’s best bets.
Surpassed only by China’s esports breakouts, the LCK remains the standard, and the people’s favorite — as shown by skyrocketing viewer counts whenever a team like T1 makes a deep run.
It’s rare to see generational talents in a sport that’s so young, especially when most come from the same country. This article contains the full list of LCK Champions by year and split at all times, including the winning team and all of its players.

The early days of the LCK saw the rise of new talent in the region. A few years after the inaugural World Championship, names were made in the Korean esports sphere, including a player from SKT Telecom 1 named Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, who captured the public’s eye for his natural talent on the Rift.

After SKT’s first win on the international stage in 2013, the team quickly became the poster child for excellence in the LCK. They would end up taking more domestic titles while getting two more Worlds wins.
