Today, I’m delighted to confirm, on behalf of the team, that a sequel to Alien: Isolation is in early development. We look forward to sharing more details with you when we’re ready.”Alien: Isolation is considered one of the best survival horror games ever created, and fans have been clamoring for a sequel since it first launched way back in 2014. Alien: Isolation, which is set 15 years after the events of Alien, has you play as Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda, who sets out to find the truth behind her mother’s disappearance aboard the space station Sevastopol. Ripley, who becomes separated from her team, soon finds that an alien creature is wreaking havoc across, and to survive, she’ll need to avoid and outsmart the creature while making her way through the station. Considering how Isolation ends, it will be interesting to see which direction Creative Assembly takes with the sequel.Alien: Isolation was included in Game Pass for a whopping four years before it left the service last year.
