With some races having evolutions, and others being necessary to join another, it can be confusing to know what the different Lost Souls races do. Our guide breaks it down, so you don’t feel like a lost soul.

Lost Souls Races Guide
Let’s take a look!
Human Race
Humans don’t do much, the only useful thing about being a human is that you die and become a Spirit.
Spirit Race
This leads me to Spirits! This race has a chain attached to it, which consumes a small part of itself every 30 minutes. After it has disappeared, you will turn into a Hollow.
If you don’t want to wait for the time to pass, you can look for a player who is a Shinigami. They will be able to perform a Soul Burial. If you can’t find a player, look for the Rukia NPC who will turn you into a Shinigami.
Shinigami Race
The base stats of the Shinigami are one of the lowest. However, if you want to unlock the Kido Skill Tree, True Bankai, Bankai Visored, or Shikai… being in this race is how to do so.
Hollow Race
Within the Hollow Race, there are multiple evolutions. The Hollow is the one you start with, and it doesn’t do anything. As you evolve your way through each, you’ll gain better abilities.
- Gillian
- You get this evolution after killing 200-250 Hollow NPCs. Gillian’s move pretty slowly, but they do have an attack called ‘Ground Smash’.
- Adjuchas
- Become an Adjuchas once you complete the Inner World Battle! These are very fast and have a large range.
- Vasto Lorde
- For this, you must kill 500-550 Hollow NPCs. However, this race cannot upgrade HP or Reiatsu. You will also be unable to unlock a Release ability and any Skill Tree other than Hakuda.
Arrancar Race
If you want to become an Arrancar, you must complete a mini-game and remove your Hollow Mask. You can do this by pressing U.
Out of all the races available, I’d say Arrancar is best. You will be able to have the Bala, Cero, Hierro, Ressurection, and even more special abilities. Not only this but Arrancar’s have high HP and defense.
Let’s look at the different types:
- Menoscar – Remove your mask as a Gillian
- +8% Damage Multiplier
- +5% Defense
- +5% HP and an additional +3% HP scaling
- Adjucar – Remove your mask as an Adjucha
- +11% Damage Multiplier
- +7% Defense
- +6 Base HP and an additional +5% HP scaling
- Vastocar – Remove your mask as a Vasto Lorde
- +12% Damage Multiplier
- +9% Defense
- +10% Base HP and an additional +8% HP scaling
