The Fortnite x Air Jordan collaboration returns in 2021 with a slew of purchasable cosmetic outfits and accessories.
Fortnite’s partnership with the Air Jordan apparel and sneaker brand dates back to May of 2019, during the height of the Battle Royale game’s popularity. Nike produced the Air Jordan line for six-time NBA Champion and NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan and Fortnite naturally inked a partnership back in Chapter 1 – Season 9.
It seemed to be a one-and-done type of deal, but Epic Games has confirmed a revival of the Fortnite x Air Jordan crossover. Starting December 1, players will have a chance to purchase the latest set of cosmetic outfits inspired by the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey sneaker and accessories via Fortnite’s Item Shop. The latest Fortnite x Air Jordan crossover focuses on Air Jordan XI Cool Grey—described as its most popular sneaker. Nike released the Cool Grey sneaker in 2001, and Fortnite players can acquire the set beginning this evening at 7 PM EST. The offerings include a male and female character model with grey and black colors and the iconic Cool Grey shoe. The Fortnite x Air Jordan collaboration also features a Dunk On ‘Em Emote, which you can see below:
Here is the complete list of cosmetics that will be available in Fortnite’s Item Shop this evening:
- Hangtime Outfit – Stay Fly.
Also has the Playmaker (Blue) and MVP (Silver) Styles unlockable in the Jumpman Zone. - Swish Outfit – So Smooth With It.
Also has the Crossover (Dark) and Downtown (Silver) Styles unlockable in the Jumpman Zone. - Cool Grey Back Back Bling – A retro classic.

You will also be able to grab the Hangtime Outfit, Swish Outfit, and Cool Grey Back Bling in the Cool Grey Bundle.
Fortnite x Air Jordan Creative Map
The fun does not stop with cosmetics. Epic Games worked with map designers Enigma and Dummblond from Paradox Buildcreators to construct the Jumpman Zone. Described as a scavenger hunt, players who queue into the Jumpman Zone creative map must conquer the Air Jordan XI Cool Grey search. What’s more, players have the opportunity to complete Trickshot Challenges to unlock free outfit styles and a spray.
Here is the progression of all 12 Trickshot Challenges:
Complete six Trickshot Challenges to unlock the Playmaker (Blue) Style of the Hangtime Outfit and the Crossover (Dark) Style of the Swish Outfit! These Outfits are available in the Item Shop starting December 1 at 7 PM ET.
Complete 10 Trickshot Challenges to unlock the MVP (Silver) Style of the Hangtime Outfit and the Downtown (Silver) Style of the Swish Outfit! These Outfits are available in the Item Shop starting December 1 at 7 PM ET.
Complete 12 Trickshot Challenges before December 4 at 2 PM ET to receive the Deep In the Paint Spray.
Complete all 12 Trickshot challenges to unlock the exclusive Hall of Fame room! The Hall of Fame room will further test your skill with even harder Trickshot challenges for extra bragging rights!
Players can access the Jumpman Zone by inputting Island Code 5519-3138-2454 into the Creative Hub.
