PlayStation has revealed some of the Until Dawn PC details and features for the upcoming release of the horror game remake, which is set to launch on October 4, 2024.
What are the new Until Dawn PC features?
In a new PlayStation blog post, more of the Until Dawn PC details were revealed. Beyond noting that the game would have upgraded graphics and accessibility features, PlayStation also revealed that the upcoming game would feature full DualSense controller support, including the use of the controller’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.
Visually, the Until Dawn PC version will also feature NVIDIA and AMD technology to deliver some cutting-edge upscaling options, including DLSS support and FidelityFX Super Resolution support. Ultrawide monitors will also be supported, as will ray-tracing support and unlocked frame rate.
Originally release in 2015, Until Dawn is an interactive horror game from Supermassive Games that follows the story of eight young adults trying to survive a trip to Blackwood Mountain. The game received massive praise when it originally launched, and has since spawned a VR spinoff, a prequel, as well as a spiritual successor in the form of 2022’s The Quarry.
