The team at EA Sports has released the first episode of its deep dive series around its upcoming hockey title NHL 25.
This in-depth video serves as a spotlight of NHL 25’s different gameplay innovations.
New to NHL 25 is the implementation of its logic-driven ICE-Q gameplay system, which gives players the chance to control every inch of the ice.
For those looking for more information around NHL 25’s nitty-gritty, this title features Next-Gen Vision Control. When active, and when the player has the puck in the offensive zone, players will now skate with the net as the target. One can now also open up bodies to go for goal, find an open teammate, or retain possession while moving around the zone.
Empowered AI will also make its way to NHL 25, serving as a complete overhaul of the AI player system. To go along with these improvements, CPU players will now have heightened awareness and greater intelligence, bringing better positioning on the ice and improved game reading.
