It’s well-designed as a portable option and stays cool thanks to a deceptively powerful rear exhaust fan. And, of course, the audio quality is also impressive, which is a real win for such a small device. The battery life is also solid, with the XGIMI Halo+ boasting 2.5 hours of total battery life on a full charge.
Admittedly, you only get one HDMI port, one USB 2.0 port, DC power in, and a 3.5mm audio out (which is ideal for headphone use), but even with this limited range, it’s still a pretty stellar design for a portable projector.
The response rate of the XGIMI Halo+ is a bit slower than specialist rivals from BenQ or the Acer Predator lineup, but its Game Mode Boost adds low latency down to 26.5ms.
