Clover Retribution Professions
From mining to blacksmithing, to fishing and alchemy, professions are a great way to craft new items for yourself.
How to Unlock Professions
Firstly, speak to Ogol at Aetherstone Lake to learn about professions. He gives you a quest that you must complete before being able to access any of the 4 professions. Upon completion, you also get 1K Gold and 1.5K EXP!
Fishing
To level up your Fishing profession, you play the Fishing Minigame and craft items related to fishing with Ogol, the Profession Master NPC. The higher your Fishing level, the more items you craft are rarer too, as long as you have the recipes for them. You also catch fish of a higher rarity!
To fish, you must equip a fishing rod and go to a pond, river, etc. Every fish has a rarity and the rarer it is, the more Fishing EXP you earn.
- Common Fish
- Rare Fish
- Epic Fish
- Mythical Fish
Blacksmithing
Blacksmiths can craft a range of items, such as weapons, armor, and accessories. Crafting items that relate to blacksmithing rewards you with EXP that levels up your profession! Head to the Unnamed Blacksmith NPC in the village to begin crafting.
Like alchemy, the higher your level, the more chance you have of successfully crafting items. Each recipe has its rarity too, like Mythic, with the later ones being accessible to blacksmiths of a certain level.
Mining
You probably get the gist now, but crafting items within the Mining profession of a similar level grants you EXP! As an example, you can craft ingots with ore, or you can use the ore to craft blacksmithing items. Miners need to speak with the Master Miner NPC, also known as Akumir to begin!
Alchemy
As an alchemist, you increase your level by crafting alchemy items, but you must head to the Potion Maker NPC in Timeston to do so! As your level goes up, you can craft higher rarity alchemy items with recipes and increase the chance of success per craft. Some of the craftable recipes as an alchemist make Fish Oil, a Minor Healing Potion, and a Minor Mana Potion.
