Special Anime Defense Trait Tier List

While all traits are good in a sense, they provide buffs to units after all, some are comparably weaker than others.

S Tier

  • Monarch
    • The Monarch trait is by far the best, due to the abundance of buffs that it comes with. A unit’s damage and range increase, cooldowns are reduced, and all members of your party get a massive boost too
  • King
    • You can’t really argue against a boost to every stat a unit has (range, damage, and cooldown)

A Tier

  • Berserker
    • This trait increases your damage and reduces cooldowns, but it also favours boss fights by buffing all damage dealt to bosses by 25%
  • Rich
    • Your unit’s damage gets a buff, but you also earn 25% more money, allowing you to upgrade your units on the field more frequently without breaking the in-game bank
  • Warrior
    • Another trait that increases all stats of a unit, again, can’t go wrong with that

B Tier

  • Killer
    • A weaker version of the Berserker trait in terms of the other stat buffs, but it still increases damage dealt to bosses by 25%
  • Godspeed
    • Best for units on the slower side, but other than that, it doesn’t do much else
  • Range III
    • A nice boost to a unit’s range
  • Strong III
    • Nothing wrong with a damage increase
  • Nimble III
    • Cooldowns are reduced by 15%, which sounds low, but makes a difference in the heat of battle

C Tier

  • Expertion
    • The EXP a unit earns is increased by 20%, levelling them up much faster
  • Nimble II
    • A weaker version of Nimble III
  • Strong II
    • A weaker version of Strong III
  • Range II
    • A weaker version of Range III

D Tier

  • Nimble I
    • The base variant of Nimble
  • Range I
    • The base variant of Range
  • Strong I
    • The base variant of Strong
