It’s the calm before the storm — Gamescom takes place this week, but first we have Opening Night Live, once again hosted by Geoff Keighley. New game announcements, new trailers, and a look at some major upcoming Game Pass games all await, so to help you prepare, here’s how, where, and when to watch Opening Night Live, as well as what we can expect to be shown!When is Gamescom Opening Night Live?Gamescom’s Opening Night Live is scheduled for later today, August 20, at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST.There will also be a pre-show at 7:30p CEST / 6:30p BST / 1:30p ET / 10:30a PT which Keighley says promises “additional new game announcements.”Where can you watch Gamescom Opening Night Live?You can watch ONL on:What can we expect from Gamescom Opening Night Live?Keighley has already confirmed several games which will make an appearance in ONL, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Little Nightmares 3, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, Batman: Arkham Shadow, Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, Dune Awakening, Marvel Rivals, Civilization VII, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 (which was recently delayed), Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Mecha Break, Arc Raiders, a new game from Tarsier Studios, and more. Sadly, he also confirmed there won’t be any sign of Hollow Knight: Silksong at ONL. Keighley also teased something to be shown at ONL with a short clip and the words “the beast is coming” — could this point to a new Dying Light game? Xbox has a lot planned for Gamescom itself, and will have over 50 titles along with presentations of major upcoming Xbox exclusives and livestreams on August 21, 22, and 23.
