Tecno is preparing to launch the Phantom V Fold 2, and we know there is a V Flip 2 as well. The company revealed the foldables are up for pre-order in the West African country of Ghana and showcased the devices as well.
The Phantom V Fold 2 has a massive rectangle camera island on the back, similar to what Xiaomi implemented with the Mix Fold 3. We can see the triple setup will be 50 MP, meaning at least one of the cameras will get such a sensor.
The V Flip 2 is also going for a more straightforward design with a bigger screen on the back, compared with the circular screen on the first V Flip. It looks like the screen will wrap around the lenses like Motorola did with its Razr phones.
Tecno posted the phones for pre-order without revealing any official features. We expect a Dimensity 9000+ for the Fold and a Dimensity 8050 chip for the Flip. Pre-orders are available until August 24, so we’ll be on the lookout for a surprise announcement.
