Now, the survival crafting game is finally making its way to other platforms, arriving on Xbox and Steam later this month alongside the upcoming Golden Update.The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is set in the Fourth Age of Middle-earth, within the Dwarven mines of Moria under the Misty Mountains. Actor John Rhys-Davies returns to the role of Lord Gimli Lockbearer, who calls you to Moria (Khazad-dûm) to help reclaim his people’s lost riches.It currently sits with a Metacritic rating of 59 for PC and 51 for PS5, so there is plenty of room for improvement. Hopefully, the upcoming Golden Update will help improve the experience a little. Alongside a host of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, The Golden Update appears to pack in plenty of other player-requested features. A Sandbox Mode will allow you to explore Moria through procedurally generated locations, and cross-play offers you a chance to play the entire game with friends on other platforms.
