If you’re hunting down the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 achievements now it’s available with Game Pass and noticed a rise in cheaters, you’re not the only ones, and the Ricochet anti-cheat team has now banned over 65,000 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and CoD Warzone accounts for cheating and boosting in the Xbox first-person shooters.Over 65,000 Call of Duty accounts bannedAfter Activision shared a statement about the rise in Call of Duty cheaters following Modern Warfare 3’s Xbox Game Pass launch, it seems the Call of Duty team has been quick to take action.”The Ricochet Anti-Cheat team has now purged the Ranked Play leaderboards in both Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, banning accounts for cheating and boosting,” Activision says. “Team Ricochet has accelerated cheat vendor enforcements resulting in over 65,000 account bans across Ranked Play and non-Ranked modes in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 this week. The team will continue to monitor and issue enforcements to anyone cheating or boosting in all game modes.”Joining Game Pass did indeed see a rise in players for Modern Warfare 3, with Call of Duty reclaiming the top spot in our latest Xbox gameplay chart, and there’s sure to be more chart chaos to come when Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches into Xbox Game Pass in October.
