All the Xbox Game Pass members out there might soon be able to start unlocking the Mafia: Definitive Edition achievements with their subscription. New rumors from reliable insiders suggest Xbox Game Pass will add Mafia: Definitive Edition soon. Our list of upcoming Game Pass games is looking pretty light for August, so hopefully this one is true. Mafia: Definitive Edition and more rumored for Xbox Game PassThis latest Game Pass rumor comes from insider Nate the Hate, who says Mafia: Definitive Edition will join Xbox Game Pass sometime in August. This was then corroborated by leaker extas1s, who has been pretty reliable with previous Game Pass leaks. According to extas1s, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will see the remake drop into the service on August 13. A remake of the first Mafia game, which came to the original Xbox in 2004, Mafia: Definitive Edition was “re-made from the ground up” by Hangar 13 in 2020 and has you “rise through the ranks of the mafia during the Prohibition-era of organized crime in America.” Playing as cab driver Tommy Angelo, you are thrust into the world of organized crime where the “rewards are too big to ignore.” This new version also includes an updated script with added dialog, new cutscenes, and new gameplay sequences. Outside of Mafia: Definitive Edition, there have been multiple other rumors about new games coming to Game Pass. Another claim, again from extas1s, is that current Nintendo Switch console exclusive Wargroove 2 will join Game Pass in mid-August. We’ve also seen another rumor that Grand Theft Auto V could be making a return to Game Pass, with another insider, Tez2, claiming that GTA 5 will soon be playable with PC Game Pass. As we all know by now, it’s worth taking these rumors with a big ol’ pinch of salt until Microsoft makes an official Xbox Game Pass announcement. It’s also been claimed that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will join Xbox Game Pass in early August.
