Halo Infinite’s next major update is a big one for Forge fans

Players collecting the Halo Infinite achievements and those who enjoy creating their own fun in Forge mode have a lot to look forward to in the exclusive Xbox game next week. 343 Industries is rolling out a huge Halo Infinite Forge mode update alongside a new Operation on July 30, adding voice lines from the multiplayer mode’s Jeff Steitzer, music from the campaign, and more.Halo Infinite to add over 1,000 voice lines from iconic Jeff Steitzer to Forge modeAs revealed on Halo Waypoint, the Forge update will see multiplayer announcer Jeff Steitzer join Forge for your own games. Over 1,000 voice lines will be available for additional authenticity, pulled from Steitzer’s announcements in existing multiplayer modes, Medal announcements, and more — as well as some fun lines like “Extra crispy!” The lines will be customizable so that only intended players can hear them. You’ll find them under a new “Announcer Voice” custom game option.That’s not all for new audio fun in Forge either, as Halo Infinite’s campaign soundtrack will also be added to Forge alongside “a variety of situational nodes that will help enhance your Forge creations.” The tracks will be separated and listed within various themes, such as Banished, UNSC, Special, and the like, so you can easily find the tracks you want to fit the scenes you’re creating.As for other fun additions coming to Forge, 343 Industries is adding navigation markers, new text strings and message templates with over 600 words and phrases, and nodes for the VIP game mode.
