Forza Horizon 4 to discontinue multiple Xbox achievements after final Festival Playlist

Starting tomorrow, you will have one last chance to grab any Forza Horizon 4 achievements related to the game’s Festival Playlist. As previously announced, Forza Horizon 4’s Series 77 Festival Playlist will be its last, and multiple Xbox achievements will be discontinued in the Xbox racing game once the Playlist ends. Last call for Forza Horizon 4 Festival Playlist achievementsAlongside news of Forza Horzion 4’s delisting later this year, Playground Games also announced it was ending the game’s monthly Festival Playlist with Series 77. This final Festival Playlist, which runs from July 25 and ends on August 22, will be your last to grab any of the open-world racing game’s achievements related to the Playlist.From what we can gather, it looks like 15 Festival Playlist achievements will be discontinued at the end of the series. A Creature of Habit, Stunt Puller, #Forzathon Sweep, Cashing In, Perfectionist, Encore, Week Complete, Spring into Racing, A Summer in Pole Position, Autumn-mobiles, Winter is Running, Well Seasoned, Test Your Might, and Overachiever, can all be unlocked with just the standard edition of Forza Horizon 4, but for Seasoned to Victory you will need to purchase the Fortune Island expansion. The toughest is the Encore achievement, which requires you to complete all activities in a single Festival Playlist series. In total, there are usually around 70 activities in a series, including seven daily activities each week (28 in total for the month) that are only live for a couple of days before they expire and are gone for good. If you miss one of these daily challenges, you won’t be able to unlock the Encore achievement, so you really do need to be on top of these. Once the Festival Playlist ends on August 22, Playground Games says you won’t be able to access the Playlist screen, except to see the Festival Playlist history. The developer notes, “You will still be able to see the Forza Events screen, which will include a selection of daily and weekly challenges. Completing these challenges and Forzathon Live Events will earn you Forzathon Points that you can exchange for Backstage Passes.”As part of the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale 2024, Forza Horizon 4 received a massive discount, so if you are thinking of going for the completion, you might want to pick up a copy now.
