If you’re new to the game, you may require a Tycoon RNG Beginner’s guide! Bookmark this page so you can learn the ins and outs of the game and how to get started with your tycoon.

Apply these tips to your gameplay in Tycoon RNG! One of the most important parts of your machinery is the Droppers, we’ve got a full guide that explains what Droppers are and which Tycoon RNG Droppers we think are best.

Tycoon RNG Beginner’s Guide

Where do you start with Tycoon RNG? It’s certainly one of the more complicated and more involved RNG games out there. Instead of rolling for auras like other games within the genre, in Tycoon RNG, you roll for machine parts.

These parts are then placed into your tycoon, each having its own buffs and debuffs. Different types of machine parts can only be placed in specific areas. Luckily, the game lets you know which part goes where!

Rolling for Parts

This is where the RNG comes in! You can set it to automatically roll while you’re AFK or doing something else in the game. Every part has a rarity, and the rarer it is, the better it is… or so you think. Even though the value increases with a rare machine part, they also come with challenging buffs or debuffs that require specific accompanying parts.

With it all being down to RNG, you may find your tycoon at a bit of a standstill for a while, with no significant increase in income and efficiency until you get a decent part. You can increase your luck with Auras, Cubes, and Tycoon Upgrades. The latter is purchased with the income! Cubes are found across the map, and Auras are obtained via the crafting feature by collecting Cubes.

Optimising Your Tycoon

Pay attention to the parts that you’re placing in your tycoon. Often, you’ll gain parts that create ‘Vulnerable’ ores that can be destroyed before they get to the end of the conveyor belt. Some parts depend on others in terms of buffs, like a Dropper that increases income if the ore has the ‘Wet’ status.

If this is the case in your tycoon, you need to have a machine part somewhere that adds the ‘Wet’ status to the pieces of ore! Whenever you equip your tycoon with a new part, take note of its status applications, upgrade stat, and any vulnerabilities. Your efficiency may fluctuate depending on which part is where.

Crafting and Cubes

To learn more about Cubes, read our Tycoon RNG Cubes guide. As mentioned earlier in this guide, you can utilise Cubes and Auras to increase your luck and receive other buffs. To craft auras, you need to collect Cubes. And to collect Cubes, you need to explore the map to find them.
