If you’re yet to upgrade to an Xbox Series X|S and want all the Naraka: Bladepoint achievements, we’ve got some bad news for you. Developer 24 Entertainment is shutting down Naraka: Bladepoint on Xbox One in August, which means soon you won’t be able to play the free Xbox game on the previous-gen console. Naraka: Bladepoint sunsetting Xbox One servers on August 28″We regret to inform you that as of August 28, 23:00 (UTC), Naraka: Bladepoint will no longer be supported on Xbox One,” a post from 24 Entertainment and NetEase Games reads. “Players will no longer be able to play the game on the Xbox One after this date.”According to the Naraka: Bladepoint team, the reason why it’s shutting down the previous-gen version of the battle royale game is due to “technical limitations” of the Xbox One’s hardware.”We continuously update Naraka with new content to keep the game fresh and exciting for players,” 24 Entertainment says. “This content, including things like new maps and new events, can no longer be run properly on the Xbox One. In light of these technical limitations, continuing to push these kinds of updates on the console would only result in a subpar gaming experience, something that we do not want for any of the members of the Naraka community.”24 Entertainment points out that Naraka: Bladepoint will still be playable on Xbox Series X|S and PC and that any account progress Xbox One players have made will be saved and made available once they log in on Series X|S or PC. Due to this “disruption,” all players who have created a Naraka: Bladepoint account on Xbox One before June 26 and have logged into that account before August 28 will receive the following gifts: Hero Coin x 300Peerless Treasure Choice Gift x 10Aeon Treasure x 510x Treasure Bonus X 510x XP Bonus x 5Score Keeper Card x 5Aeon Coin x 8Spectral Silk x 2000Tae x 3000If you’re not planning on playing Naraka: Bladepoint on Xbox Series X|S or PC and still want the completion on your card, unlocking all 40 achievements in the battle royale game will take between 150 and 200 hours, according to estimates. For more Naraka: Bladepoint freebies, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate users can claim the Season 12 Perks bundle via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks, but you’ll need to be quick.
