If you’ve been looking forward to collecting the Lost Records: Bloom & Rage achievements since we got that interesting trailer during the IGN x ID@Xbox Showcase in April, we have some bad news: Lost Records: Bloom & Rage has been delayed, and will now launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC in early 2025.Lost Records: Bloom & Rage delayed into 2025As announced by Don’t Nod via Actusnews Wire, the developer’s upcoming point-and-click adventure game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage won’t be launching later this year as originally planned. The announcement says that recent trends and developments in the industry have led Don’t Nod to feel like Lost Records would have a more successful launch in early 2025.“We know that many of our fans are eagerly awaiting this game, just as they are the recently announced next installment of Life is Strange. Let’s give both titles the space they need to be enjoyed by our players within the large community we have built. We firmly believe that the wait for Bloom & Rage will be worth it. We look forward to sharing this new adventure, which we hope will become another memorable chapter in the Don’t Nod universe.”We didn’t have a solid release for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage before, but it was down for a late 2024 launch. Earlier this month, Square Enix and Deck Nine revealed Life is Strange: Double Exposure, which launches on Xbox Series X|S on October 29. Life is Strange was originally created by Don’t Nod and features similar gameplay to what we’ve seen in Lost Records, and considering its already large fanbase, it comes as no surprise that Don’t Nod would want some breathing room between Life is Strange and its newest IP. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is the first of a two-part narrative adventure set in a fictional town called Velvet Cove in 1995. We’ll follow the story of Swann, Nora, Autumn, and Kat, four high school friends who reconnect after 27 years to confront a dark secret they hid away 27 years prior. If you fancy diving into some Don’t Nod goodness now, Tell Me Why is currently free to claim and keep from the Xbox store until June 30 to celebrate Pride month.
