We haven’t heard a peep about Neon White joining Xbox Game Pass since it was announced for Xbox consoles and the subscription service last year, but now, the Neon White achievements have suddenly popped up on the Xbox Network, which could suggest it will join Xbox Game Pass soon. Back in June 2023, Neon White was confirmed for Xbox Game Pass alongside nine other games, including Sea of Stars, Another Crab’s Treasure, and Little Kitty, Big City. All games in that original announcement have now launched and found their way into Game Pass, but news surrounding Neon White has been non-existent until now. We have now picked up the Neon White achievements, which could mean publisher Annapurna Interactive is finally gearing up to bring the game to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Game Pass soon. In fact, a new Microsoft Store listing for Neon White had a July 11 release date, which we picked up on our scanners, but has since been scrubbed from the store page.If you’ve not heard of Neon White, it’s a lighting-fast first-person shooter and puzzle-platforming game that puts a heavy focus on speedrunning. Playing as an assassin from Hell, you compete with other demon slayers for a chance to live permanently in Heaven by killing all enemies in a level as fast as possible. When Neon White launched for PlayStation consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC, it was met with a wave of positive reviews from both critics and players and is considered one of 2022’s best games.
