There are many different ways to tweak your characters in RE XL, and one of them is classes. They might not be as visible as your ability, but they can make a big difference to your performance. So what are they, how do you see what yours is, and how do you get a new one? Our RE XL classes guide tells all.

RE XL Classes Guide
First, we’ll talk about what classes are and how to change them, then go into the different class types.
Classes
Classes are an aspect of your character build that give different buffs. Not sure what your class is? Check on your stats by hitting the button on the left of the screen. It should be in the top window.
There are two ways to change your class. You can get a new class through a class respin, which costs 249 Robux, or you can use the Brain item. You can buy Brains from Piccolo in the spawn area safe zone for $40,000.
Aside from Generalist, which has a 75% chance to appear on a respin, all classes have a 25% chance to appear. This means you may need to respin your class multiple times to get a good one! Keep that in mind before you drop too much money, or even Robux, on a class change.
RE XL Class List
Right, let’s go over each of the classes.
- Generalist
- Blaster
- Blasters do 25% extra damage.
- Bruiser
- Bruisers take 25% less damage from attacks, and attackers get 10% of the damage dealt reflected onto them.
- Infiltrator
- Infiltrators have a 30% higher chance of landing a critical hit, and an impressive 20% Dodge chance.
- Scrapper
- Scrappers have a 10% Lifesteal effect, restoring their own health by dealing damage to their opponent.
- Tactician
- Tacticians enjoy a cooldown reduction on abilities, letting you use them 25% faster than everyone else.
