Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft is going to test her skills in Dead by Daylight

Players surviving (or dishing out) brutal executions for the Dead by Daylight achievements will soon have a new survivor to play, as Lara Croft is coming to Dead by Daylight. The Tomb Raider herself will join the pool of survivors when the Dead by Daylight: Tomb Raider Chapter DLC launches on July 16. Croft’s outing in this Xbox horror game might just be the deadliest adventure she has embarked on.Dead by Daylight: Tomb Raider Chapter adds Lara Croft soon”While Dead by Daylight marks her first foray into the horror genre, Lara Croft herself is no stranger to terrifying encounters,” the press release tells us. “From claustrophobic tunnels, to mysterious tombs, to ravenous beasts, Lara has narrowly escaped the jaws of death on countless occasions. Each experience has shaped her, bestowing upon her a wealth of survival expertise and ancient knowledge along the way. ​ “Trapped in the bleak Realm of the Entity, players will now be able to step into Lara’s boots as she seeks the greatest treasure of all: a way to escape. “When Lara Croft joins the roster of survivors in Dead by Daylight next month, she won’t be packing her signature pistols or a bow and instead will be relying on Perks to help her survive the horrors found in the Realm of the Entity. Looking at the Dead by Daylight website, it tells us that Croft’s experience in climbing could be useful, as it’ll provide “a critical burst of speed when a chase appears dire.” She also appears to have a way to locate enemy players, as her resolve prevents her from panicking in the Fog: “Lara understands the severity of that reaction, instead using it as an opportunity to regroup and scout her enemies.” Additionally, Lara could have an easier time locating items, because “the minute an opened treasure chest crosses her path, Lara Croft’s instinct never fails to kick in.
