Resident Evil 2 Remake Is The Best-Selling Entry In The Series With Over 13.9 Million Sales

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 2 Remake has sold over 13.9 million copies worldwide since its launch in January 2019, making it the best-selling entry in the survival horror franchise to date.Speaking on X, the team at Capcom Development Studio 1 had the following to say (via translation):Resident Evil RE:2 surpassed 10 million copies sold in July 2022, and is currently the highest-selling game in the series, having sold over 13.9 million copies! At the time, we were staying at home, so we weren’t able to celebrate, but we were finally able to do so.
