It’s an exciting day, adventurers, as we’re getting more The Elder Scrolls Online achievements to collect while exploring Tamriel. ZeniMax’s continued support for the game keeps us returning for more, which is just one of the reasons The Elder Scrolls Online sits on our list of the best Xbox MMO games. Check out the new Gold Road chapter Xbox achievements below to see what adventures we’ll be embarking on today. As I spoke about in my The Elder Scrolls Online Gold Road preview, we’re heading to West Weald and its capital city of Skingrad today, which we last explored in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Many nostalgic treats litter the zone’s golden landscape, including Ayleid ruins found in Oblivion and Dark Welkynd Stones. We’ll also be tracking down a new Daedric Prince, Ithelia, who was released from her prison during the last chapter, Necrom. Ithelia has been upsetting the balance in this land, unleashing Mirror creatures all across the zone, and they’re also presumably responsible for the random jungle that has sprouted out of the ground. Alongside all the adventuring we can do in this gorgeous new area, we’ll also have a chance to dabble with Scrying, a precursor to Oblivion’s Spell Crafting, unlocking new abilities and skill cosmetics.
