Star Wars: Outlaws Creative Director Says The Campaign Is Approximately 30hrs Long

Star Wars: Outlaws is the next major title coming from Ubisoft before it’s next Assassin’s Creed game launches, which is why we got a huge focus on it this past Summer Game Fest season.PSU got to check out the gameplay shown during the Ubisoft Forward 2024 ahead of time for a preview, and we got a trailer for Outlaws during every major showcase.As the Summer Game Fest season dies down, we’re beginning to learn even more about the coming games now that interviews with developers that took place over the weekend are popping up.In an interview with VGC, creative director on the game Julian Gerighty provided a new piece of information on Outlaws, that it’ll take players approximately 30 hours to complete the game’s campaign, though you can double that if you want to go complete everything.“Very, very early on, we decided this is going to be a 25, 30 hours golden path adventure, 50 hours, 60 hours for completionists, and that is, for a guy with a family and a job, it’s still a fair amount of time,” said Gerighty.“But it’s not Assassin’s Creed epic, 200 hours’ worth of gameplay, so that allows us to really focus on the detail, it allows us to focus, maybe with a smaller team, on executing something that is manageable.”Good news for anyone concerned there might be an enormous amount of Ubisoft-bloat in Outlaws.Source – [VGC]
