Balatro Physical Special Edition Announced, Preorders Launching Soon

The renaissance of physical release continues to gather pace (well, maybe) as it has been announced that famed deck-building roguelike Balatro will be receiving a physical special edition release in the future.Fresh off the back of the news that Alan Wake 2 is to receive similar treatment, the news came by a surprise reveal via Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb on day 1 of the site’s show ‘Giant Bomb at Nite’.Coming with a physical pack of booster and Joker cards, the special edition does not yet have a price point but preorders are expected to kick off soon.The news was later reaffirmed in a more formal manner via a post on developer LocalThunk’s X account:So excited to announce that Balatro is getting a physical edition, coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox!
