It looks like we’ll have some new Alan Wake 2 achievements to unlock very soon as Remedy has confirmed that the Alan Wake 2 Night Springs DLC expansion launches tomorrow, June 8. Alan Wake 2 Night Springs DLC launches for Xbox Series X|S on June 8As per PlayStation Blog, the Night Springs DLC features three self-contained episodes, and it looks like you’ll be playing as a few familiar faces. “Put yourself in the shoes of the Number One Fan, who bears a striking resemblance to the waitress Rose Marigold, and fight the shadows in pursuit of truth and love with your trusty shotgun by your side, the blog post reads. “As the Actor, who may be called “Shawn Ashmore” in some realities and ‘Sheriff Timothy Breaker’ in others, you will take on the mantle of the Time Breaker and defeat the villain hunting for you. And in the North Star episode, unravel coffee-based secrets and cosmic caffeine mysteries as the Sibling, who may seem familiar to those who know Jesse Faden, director of the Federal Bureau of Control.”The Night Springs DLC will add 12 new Xbox achievements (four per episode) to unlock. To access the Night Springs DLC, you will need to purchase either the Deluxe Edition of the game or the Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Upgrade. From what we can tell, it looks like Night Springs will not be sold separately. Additionally, a photo mode is coming to Alan Wake 2 as part of a free update on June 8.Remedy has also announced physical Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of Alan Wake 2, which will be available to pre-order from June 8, and releases this fall.
