European esports organisation G2 Esports has extended its partnership with esports data and analytics platform Shikenso Analytics.
As a result of the extension, the platform will continue to partner with the organisation until the end of 2025.
G2 Esports will continue to use Shikenso’s AI-based solutions to monitor the performance of its existing partnerships across its social media and streaming channels. According to a release, the tools will enable the organisation to enhance ‘strategic decision-making procedures’ and to establish ‘data-driven campaigns’.
The organisation has worked with Shikenso Analytics since August 2023 to improve the effectiveness of existing collaborations with its partners. G2 Esports’ commercial portfolio boasts the likes of alcohol brand Jägermeister and American fashion brand Ralph Lauren, among many others.
Aside from partnership renewals, 2024 has seen G2 Esports announce staff appointments and new esports collaborations. In April 2024, it appointed Henning Christiansson as its Commercial Director while March 2024 saw the organisation join forces with shooter title Nyan Heroes.
For Shikenso Analytics, G2 Esports joins a large roster of esports organisations and tournament organisers on its roster. In recent months, the platform has partnered with Complexity, renewed its deal with PGL and launched an esports engagement whitepaper in collaboration with tournament platform Challengermode.
Sabrina Ratih, COO of G2 Esports, spoke on the extension: “As we continue to innovate and grow globally, it’s essential for us to keep our finger on the pulse of data analytics in order for us to keep delivering world-class services for our partners and foster data-informed decision-making across the business.
