Anime Defenders Star Rifts
Star Rifts are used to craft evolution items! These items are required to evolve certain units into their second form. There are Legendary Star Rifts, Epic Star Rifts, and Unique Star Rifts – displayed by the colour of the background square. Most crafting recipes require Blue Star Rifts, Yellow Star Rifts, Red Star Rifts, Purple Star Rifts, and Rainbow Star Rifts. The rarities for each type are:
- Red Star Rift (Legendary)
- Purple Star Rift (Legendary)
- Blue Star Rift (Legendary)
- Yellow Star Rift (Epic)
- Rainbow Star Rift (Mythic)
How to Obtain Star Rifts
In regards to the Rainbow Star Rifts, they can be obtained via mission quests. However, it has a low drop rate chance, so you’ll have to farm these quests – particularly the Cursed Academy trial. Luckily, many evolutions require a singular Rainbow Star Rift, but some ask for 2+. Only specific challenges offer up Rainbow Star Rifts, so always take note of the possible rewards.
Other challenges, such as the Cursed Academy Abyssal Clash and Windmill Village A New Dawn, can reward you with the other Star Rift colours. Another method is via trading, but this one takes a lot of patience. If someone is giving away their Star Rifts, they’re going to want something decent in return, such as a rare unit, etc.
In short, the best way to obtain Star Rifts in Anime Defenders is to grind the challenges – but remember to check the possible rewards before you head into a mission!
