Anime Defenders Gems Guide
You use Gems for unit pulls across the banner system. Obtaining strong units is incredibly hard as the chance rate for high-ranking units is low. You’ll need a lot of Gems to afford a stacked team and each banner pull will fetch you 50 Gems per roll. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to get your hands on Gems, with some being more involved than others.
How To Get Gems
Let’s get into the ways you can fill your pockets!
- Playing Waves – Naturally, playing the game fetches Gems amongst other loot as rewards. Each Chapter typically generates around 110 Gems per successful completion, regardless of difficulty.
- Quests – Keep a tab on your Daily, Weekly and Infinite Quests as most of these happen to be passively completed as you play. To maximise your Gem incoming, always check in on the Daily Quests which refresh every 24 hours.
- Group Rewards – If you’re not a fan of groups, worry not. Leave the group as soon as you’ve claimed the 500 Gem reward with no repercussions. After joining the games group, interact with the star in the main lobby for your reward.
- AFK Rewards – This one offers a more hands-off approach. You can sit back and let the game grind for you at a snail’s pace, and return to a sum of Gems and other goodies for your patience. I’d recommend setting up this method before heading to school or sleep for maximised rewards.
