Grindy XDefiant Xbox achievement will be easier to unlock this weekend

If you’re working your way through the XDefiant achievements, we have some good news for you. This weekend, XDefiant is offering double XP on weapons, which should reduce the grind of a tough achievement in the free Xbox game.XDefiant double XP weekend reduces the grind of one Xbox achievementWhile the XDefiant achievements overall are pretty simple, there are two that require a fair bit of grinding to unlock: Weapon Master, which asks you to level up a weapon to level 50, and All Grown Up, which requires reaching player level 50. Thankfully, this weekend, you can earn double XP on weapons in XDefiant, which should alleviate a bit of the grind for Weapon Master. As announced on Twitter, double XP on weapons will be live in XDefiant from Friday, May 24 at 10am PT/ 1pm ET/ 6pm BST through to Tuesday, May 28 at 10am PT/ 1pm ET/ 6pm BST. Out of the two achievements, All Grown Up appears to require more effort and will take longer to unlock, so it’s a bit of a shame double XP isn’t applied to player levels this weekend. Hopefully, Ubisoft has plans for a double XP player-level weekend in the works.Ubisoft is also rolling out a new XDefiant patch on Xbox. XDefiant Preseason Patch 1 re-enables the Practise Zone, fixes an issue with hitmarkers, and stops devices from dropping at players’ feet after dying. Netcode That issue where you’d get hitmarkers on an enemy as they killed you, but their health bar still appeared full to you? The health bar display was wrong – you did damage them. Should be fixed now.Localization Fixed an issue where end-of-match UI text would display with the wrong orientation in Arabic. Miscellaneous We’ve turned the Practice Zone back on but it’s possible weird things could still happen.
