Ahead of its release on May 23 for the Nintendo Switch, get ready to explore the world of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door with the launch trailer for the game.
In this title, players will control a flat Mario as they get out to collect the Crystal Stars before the bad guys. The ultimate goal? Find the treasure behind the Thousand-Year Door before the X-Nauts.
A twist on turn-based RPGs, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door has players utilize both badges and timing-based attacks to get the edge in battle. Players can also collect Crystal Stars that unlock powerful Special Moves.
The paper angle comes into play too; one can fold Mario into a plane, or can even turn him sideways to move across narrow gaps.
