The Minecraft movie is coming in 2025
Following the massive success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, one of the next high-profile video game adaptations for the silver screen is the Minecraft movie from Warner Bros.
The film has been in the works for a decade and has gone through a number of changes throughout development, but the film is finally coming. Filming just recently wrapped, but there is presumably a good amount of CG work to be done before it hits theaters in April 2025.
Jack Black stars in the film, and it’s just his latest video game movie, as he voiced Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie and is the voice of Claptrap in this August’s Borderlands movie. He’s joined by Jason Momoa, Kate McKinnon, and other big names.
There is a lot to know about the Minecraft movie, and you can read on through the gallery below to get up to speed with all the key details.
