Don’t know which Agent to play? This Agent tier list for Valorant patch 8.07 is here to help you out.
With every patch note in Valorant, the meta gets shaken up even if it’s by the slightest amount, and this time, it’s no exception as players welcome Clove to the agents roster in patch 8.05. And that’s why, we’ll be taking a look at where all the agents stand in the meta with the help of a tier list, so that you can dominate every match as you play Valorant’s strongest agents right now.
Valorant Agent Tier List 8.07
As we can see from the tier list above, this is tentatively where all the agents stand in the meta. We’ll be taking a deeper look at why they are in the tiers that they’re put in, so let’s get right into it, starting from C tier.
C-Tier Agents
The C-Tier consists of the following agents:
We can see that two of the game’s duelists, Iso and Neon, are both in the lowest tier right now. While Neon can be quite strong in certain situations with her blitz speed and shortcuts, there’s simply better options for playing duelists in the meta right now, and the same goes for our latest duelist, Iso.
On the other hand, Harbor and KAY/O simply don’t have the stopping power to dominate the ranks right now, as their kits simply don’t provide enough benefits and are overshadowed by the other agents in Valorant.
Harbor’s slow smokes and obtrusive wave walls can be very handy to block line of sight, but aside from that, he doesn’t really provide much else, unfortunately. KAY/O on the other hand can be useful to know where players are with his ability-disabling knives, but lacks the stopping power and live visual information like Sova or Fade’s wall hacks.
B-Tier Agents
The B-Tier consists of the following agents:
- Fade
- Yoru
- Skye
- Brimstone
- Sage
- Breach
- Phoenix
- Deadlock
- Astra
As we can see, the B-Tier includes the most agents by far in the list, with duelists like Phoenix and Yoru taking up their positions inside it. Most of the characters in the B-Tier are not bad by any means, and you can definitely climb up the ranks if you have experience with any of the agents here.
But suffice to say, the agents in this tier are still overshadowed by the ones in A-tier and S-tier, who simply have more benefits to provide to their team, or better abilities that can get you easier eliminations.
A-Tier Agents
The A-Tier consists of the following agents:
- Cypher
- Gekko
- Chamber
- Reyna
- Killjoy
- Sova
- Viper
Here we enter the territory of agents that are quite viable in most maps and matchups in the game, especially agents like Chamber and Reyna who are quite versatile with their kits (We all know Chamber is a duelist at this point). Sentinels like Cypher and Killjoy are both extremely good at punishing players who are not observant enough about their surroundings and fall into their traps like baited prey.
Gekko and Sova are both very reliable to have as teammates, as they’re both proficient at providing enough space and information for the rest of your team to march in easily to the sites.
S-Tier Agents
The S-Tier consists of the following agents:
These 4 agents are now dominating the meta in Valorant at the moment, with the newest addition, Clove, also taking up her own personal space in the top of the tier list. Her kit is extremely good and useful for the entire team, as she can be as aggressive as Omen thanks to her abilities like Pick-me-up granting her extra health or literally resurrecting herself with her ultimate.
Raze, Jett and Omen have been at the top of the list for a while now, and it’s no surprise, given how well made their kits are and how versatile they are on almost every map. Both duelists have high skill ceilings but are incredibly rewarding once you learn how to use them and rest assured, the enemy team will be malding because of the plays you can make with them.
And that concludes our in-depth look at the agent tier list for Valorant’s patch 8.07. This list is subjective to an extent and the relative positions of the agents will change depending on every player’s personal preference and how well they play with them. Regardless, this is a tentative list for Valorant right now and will definitely help you out if you’re unsure which agent to unlock or learn in the game.
