The Genshin Impact 4.6 Special Program teased the next big story update for the MiHoYo gacha RPG, as well as the latest characters coming to Teyvat.

Arlecchino Gameplay Reveal
Arlecchino is the fourth Fatui Harbinger in Genshin Impact, and the RPG’s next major antagonist. Dubbed as “the Knave”, Arlecchino is a ruthless diplomat who wields formidable Pyro powers using her scythe. At the same time, the “Dire Balemoon” rules over the House of the Hearth as their “Father”.
The House of the Hearth is the Fatui intelligence agency headed by Arlecchino. Disguised as an orphanage, the House takes in gifted children and trains them to serve in their expansive spy network.
Travelers will get to learn all about Arlecchino’s past in her riveting story quest titled “Ignis Purgatorius”, whose first chapter drops on April 24!
Arlecchino All Abilities
- Passive: When affected by Bond of Life equal to or greater than %HP, all attacks deal Pyro damage, elemental skill cooldown is reduced, her damage gets buffed and all damage helps to remove the Bond of Life.
- Elemental Skill: Applies Blood Debt Directives that deal damage-over-time to nearby enemies. Hitting an affected target with a charged attack or an elemental burst consumes Blood Debt Directives and applies a Bond of Life on Arlecchino.
- Elemental Burst: Resets cooldown of Elemental Skill, and heals Arlecchino based on Attack and current Bond of Life.
Focused Experience Mode
A “Focused Experience Mode” feature that reduces random open-world quest encounters will be added to Genshin Impact 4.6 once the update comes on the 24th. This comes as a welcome improvement since the game has accumulated a huge number of in-game events and quest prompts that can randomly pull a player away from their current mission.

Phase 1 of the 4.6 Wish Banner will give these Genshin Impact characters a drop-rate boost!

Arlecchino enters the boss roster as Genshin Impact’s newest weekly boss.
“The Knave” will command a wide arena with two phases. Arlecchino will dodge all of your attacks at first to test your mettle. But soon, she’ll be dealing big AOE damage and applying a Blood Debt which will buff her attacks if ignored.
Cyno’s New Story Quest
Sumeru’s latest mystery will unfold in Cyno’s new story quest Lupus Aureus: Act II. The quest centers on a new identity that arrives on the scene, and it’ll be up to you, Tighnari, Collei, Alhaitham and Kaveh to help Cyno reveal the truth behind buried secrets.
