Players working through the Exoprimal achievements can look forward to new items inspired by another popular Capcom character on April 17, as Exoprimal is getting a Mega Man crossover. Exoprimal hasn’t yet made it onto our list of the best Xbox Game Pass games, but Season 4 seems to include a ton of content, so maybe this is its moment. As revealed on the official Exoprimal website, Season 4, which kicks off on April 14 with Update 4, includes Mega Man crossover content. This will be the third Capcom franchise to appear in the dino shooter, which previously saw items added inspired by Monster Hunter and Street Fighter 6. Similar to the previous crossovers, we can expect to see Mega Man-inspired suit skins, charms, decals, stamps, and emotes arrive with the new season. To unlock the items, you’ll need to play the ten-player crossover event to take down the Yellow Devil from the Mega Man series.Mega Man will soon blast into Exoprimal as the latest crossoverElsewhere in Season 4, Capcom will be adding a new ten-player co-op challenge mode called Time Loop Rebellion, which is a variation of Exoprimal’s final mission with “special rewards” for players who take down the Behemoth while meeting “set conditions.” We’ll also see Custom matches finally arrive, offering you a chance to work through the game’s story at your own pace with your friends via cross-play.As for new gear, six new Beta exosuits will be added alongside new rigs and modules — including a new mortar rig — increasing the total available exosuits to 30. With your new customized gear, you’ll be in a good spot to charge into the “special limited-time campaigns,’ and earn the fresh Survival Pass rewards. The upcoming content certainly sounds promising, especially the addition of Custom Matches, which has been sorely missed. The lack of variety in missions and the PvP portion of Dino Survival has also been a turn off for a lot of players, causing its playerbase to dwindle — it only managed to stay in our Gameplay Chart for five weeks after it launched in July, and we’ve not seen it break into the top 200 most-played games since November. It’ll be interesting to see if the new Time Loop Rebellion mode entices players back to the game in April.Season 4 arrives in Exoprimal on April 17, and if you fancy waiting for the new content before returning for more dino-blasting action, there are plenty of games coming to Game Pass to fill your time with.
