The two biggest organizations in Call of Duty merge to create OpTic Texas.
After weeks of speculation, the merger between OpTic Gaming and Envy has been confirmed, resulting in the formation of OpTic Texas. The new team will field a roster of Seth “Scump” Abner, Brandon “Dashy” Otell, Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro and Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal.
OpTic Texas Begins
This new merger will see the brands of OpTic Chicago and Dallas Empire removed from the Call of Duty League as they merge to become one. This also means that Chicago’s CDL spot has been purchased by Envy. Therefore, it must be sold before the start of the CDL season, otherwise we may see a league of 11 teams.
Bigger than Dallas.

The new roster of Scump, Dashy, Shotzzy and iLLeY have been competing together since the start of Vanguard and will look to take the CDL by storm when the season begins. Scump, Dashy and Shotzzy are currently competing together in the 20K Code Red Warzone event tonight, which can be watched here.
